Founded in 1905, Concordia has become Oregon’s largest private, nonprofit university, with the mission to prepare leaders for the transformation of society. The new, streamlined academic environment allows more focus on the helping professions and enhances our ability to cultivate servant-leaders who are agents of positive change in their communities and around the world.
While the university continues to expand in education, health care, business and law, it will postpone new student recruitment and enrollment in four undergraduate majors – chemistry, English, global studies, and history – and two masters’ level programs – TESOL and community psychology, beginning Fall 2019. The university is committed to continue supporting all current students through to graduation.
