Greg Peterson is a licensed counselor in Oregon and Washington. He grew up in Puget Sound and loves the Pacific Northwest. He completed his undergraduate degree at University of Oregon and then moved to Portland where he completed his Masters in Counseling from Western Seminary. Greg has been at Concordia University serving in Counseling Services since 2016. Prior to joining Concordia, he gained experience in community mental health working with underserved populations and on suicide and crisis hotlines.
Greg enjoys eating delicious food especially in small hole-in-the wall restaurants. While not at work, he spends the majority of his time with friends and family playing board games, reading sci-fi and fantasy novels, playing retro video games, listening to jazz, or planning his next travel adventure. Greg is passionate about teaching and supervising new counselors in the field to assist them on their personal journey of providing beneficial counseling.
