    Concordia University received the Maritime Fire & Safety Association’s Community Partnership Award at its annual meeting Jan. 26, 2017.

    The award recognized the contributions of Concordia’s Center for Emergency Solutions (CES) in support of the mission of the Association to keep the region’s waterways safe.  The MFSA award recognizes Concordia University for “advancing the goals of enhanced response and preparedness efforts along the Lower Columbia and Willamette River System.”

    Recent media coverage about online education addressed a broad range of topics - from regulatory coverage to accreditation standards.
    We are disappointed that one of these recent articles mentions Concordia’s online master of education program and does not adequately reflect the university, our high graduation rates, and student success in our online graduate programs, nor the measures taken to ensure they are fully accredited and adhere to all educational requirements.

    Concordia University has 14 of these Pokestops alone. Campus officials started to realize the magnitude of the Pokemon craze when security got involved after a few players wanted to sleep under the bell tower.
