Concordia University - Portland Announces a Teach-Out Partnership with Concordia University, Nebraska for Online Accelerated M.Ed.
Concordia University - Portland has identified a teach-out partnership with Concordia University, Nebraska. It was formally approved by our accrediting agency, the NWCCU, on February 26, 2020. This agreement permits all Concordia Portland students enrolled in the online accelerated M.Ed. program to continue their academic pursuit without interruption, ensuring they can complete their program with the best opportunity for on-time graduation. Concordia Nebraska will honor each student’s current tuition rate, including any scholarships.
Current M.Ed. students will receive an email from the Concordia University – Portland Registrar with details on how to proceed should you choose to pursue this option. Upon choosing this option, students can expect to receive outreach from their Student Success Advisor for assistance and further information.
The students are at liberty to complete their programs at any institution, subject to the program offerings and transfer guidelines of that institution. For those students from Oregon or Washington who were seeking additional licensure in our online or campus programs in MEd (Administration, C&I ESOL, C&I Reading Interventionist, C&I Health/PE) or Certificates (Principal License, ESOL, Reading interventionist, or Health/PE), please see the below list of transfer universities who are working with our students to help them complete their program.

- December 2, 2019, your fifth and last class at CU will end on May 30, 2020.
- October 28, 2019, your fifth and last class at CU will end on April 25, 2020.
- September 23, 2019, your fifth and last class at CU will end on March 21, 2020.
- August 19, 2019, your fifth and last class at CU will end on February 15, 2020.
If your program began on the following dates you will be eligible to complete your program at Concordia University – Portland.
