A community of caring
The campus at Concordia University in Portland is a connected and engaged campus. Here, students, staff, and faculty members work together for the betterment of our Cavalier community as well as our neighbors around town and around the world. At Concordia, all are welcomed. From our Office of Multicultural Services and our Office of Service Leadership to our student government and student service corps, Concordia students are making a real difference every day. Serving as second-grade reading coaches. Putting up drywall in a Habitat for Humanity home. Stocking shelves in a local food bank. Preparing tax returns for low income neighbors. Connecting with homeless people under a Portland bridge. The list is as diverse and encompassing as our student body.
“What I gained from Concordia was the single greatest experience of my life. Living away from home and growing independent in Concordia’s nurturing environment, I had new freedom to make my own life choices.”
