As required by law, campus crime statistics are published in a brochure entitled “Crime Awareness and Campus Security Act Information” (PDF). An “Emergency Procedures Manual” covers such topics as keeping safe at work, crime prevention tips, serious injury/illness procedures, fire and evacuation procedures, and tips on what to do during an earthquake, power outage, when a fire alarm sounds, etc. “First Aid Information” is the third brochure available from the Public Safety Department. It covers emergency numbers, resuscitation, and what to do if you find someone who is unconscious, having a heart attack or seizure, is choking or bleeding, etc. These brochures are available at the Public Safety Offices, Student Services Office, or in the University’s Business Office.
