In compliance with Oregon Law, the University requires that all full-time students born on or after January 1, 1957, enrolled on the Portland campus document immunity to measles, either with dates of two doses of vaccine, blood titers confirming immunity, or history of disease documented by a health care provider. International students (non-immigrant visas), both part-time and full-time, must provide measles documentation before attending any classes.
Please complete this documentation with the online immunization form, which is a mandatory part of the registration process at Concordia. Students will have a hold on future enrollment in classes until the documentation is complete.
Below is a list of additional vaccines you may want to consider prior to attendance at college. Your student’s home health care provider can help in making decisions about vaccines. You are also welcome to discuss these vaccines with the Director of Health Services.
Additional recommended, but not required, vaccines:
- Meningococcal Vaccine
- Tetanus, pertussis and diphtheria Vaccine
- Influenza Vaccine
- Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) Series
- Varicella (Chickenpox) Vaccine.
