At Concordia University-Portland, our goal is to help you succeed - in class, in school, in career, in life. We have a team of six full-time professional advisors who are focused on helping you navigate your time here at college. Our primary focus is working with you to answer questions, solve challenges, and ensure that you make the most of your college education.

One Stop Advising
Advisors are on hand Monday through Thursday, 9am until 5pm to assist you in a variety of ways:
- Registration for classes
- Designing academic roadmaps
- Planning for campus involvement, as well as post-college life
- Declaring a major, as well as changing a major and adding a minor
- Serving as students' academic advocates
- Understanding degree requirements
- Academic success coaching
Together with your academic advisor, you can create and maintain a comprehensive academic roadmap that allows you to see your specific degree path at Concordia - from first class to graduation. Creating a roadmap lets you see, at a glance, what you have completed and what you still need to complete in order to graduate. The roadmap also gives you the freedom to adjust your schedule each semester to ensure you achieve your desired level of success.
An Advocate in Your Corner
Challenges and concerns are a normal part of getting a college education. That's why we want you to know that we're here for you: to talk, to problem-solve, and to help. Part of our role is to work with you, one-on-one, to address any concerns you may have as you move down your educational path.
