Scott Hillstrom serves as a Director of Instructional Design for CU Online. Scott has worked in learning design for over seventeen years, specializing in adult education, academic and corporate learning, multimedia design and development, educational technology use and integration, assessment and evaluation, online learning communities, problem- and experiential-learning approaches, and instructional project management. He has taught college courses in topics such as:

Scott and his wife, Allison, have been married since 1993 and have two sons, Shawn and Joel. Scott worked in Campus Crusade for Christ for four years, and occasionally serves as a worship leader in his church. He has traveled to countries such as Nicaragua and Costa Rica, helping train campus student-leaders in Christian leadership principles.
Scott is in the dissertation phase of a PhD in Instructional Design. He enjoys astronomy, photography, videography, historical fiction, and listening to classic rock.
