David Haidle

June 4 - July 20, 2013

David Haidle and his wife, Helen, have written and illustrated over 45 award-winning books. These books have been published by major Christian publishing houses such as Multnomah, Zondervan, Thomas Nelson, Baker Books, New Leaf Press, and Harvest House. When He is My Shepherd was released in 1989, it won a C. S. Lewis Silver Award. This launched a writing career for Helen and she began writing other picture books, chapter books, devotionals and board books for the youngest children. David transitioned from his fine-art career of lithography and painting large nature images on canvases of 4'x5' and 6'x10'. He learned watercolor and began painting on a greatly reduced format - 11"x16".

This exhibit also features local artists: Adrienne Fritze, Jan Hardenburger, Jack McNally, Kathy Miyashiro, Sandy Dutko, and Greg Lewis
