Idaho Coalition Against Sexual & Domestic Violence
Sue Fellen has been the Executive Director of the Idaho Coalition Against Sexual & Domestic Violence since it's inception. The Idaho Coalition is a statewide organization with more than 80 member organizations, including law enforcement, prosecutors, health care providers, victim advocates, victim witness coordinators, universities, and other allied professionals. Sue has advocated on behalf of victims of violence for more than twenty years. She worked as Shelter Manager and Director of the WCA from 1982-993. She was involved in crafting legislation making domestic violence a crime and a protection order bill that provided relief to the victim, allowing the victim to remain in the home and ordering the offender to leave. She was on the Full Faith & Credit Committee that drafted legislation for Idaho. Sue has served on the Board of Directors of the National Network to End Domestic Violence since 1994 and was involved in national policy affecting full funding of the Violence Against Women Act and the Victims of Crime Act. Ms Fellen works closely with Senator Mike Crapo, Honorary Chair of the Idaho Coalition Board, on full funding for VAWA and VOCA as well as other national issues related to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. Sue also serves on the Board of Directors of FACES, the Ada County Family Justice Center as well as the Idaho Teen Dating Violence Project Executive Committee, the Idaho Coordinated Response to Domestic & Sexual Violence, and the Idaho Victim Assistance Academy.
