Philip enjoys alpine skiing and is a former member of the National Ski Patrol - Brundage Mountain and Bogos Basin. He also enjoys whitewater rafting, and is formerly licensed by Idaho Outfitters and a guide on the Snake, Salmon and Payette Rivers. Philip also scuba dives, and enjoys adventure travel.
