Since the December announcement of Cathy Silak as founding dean of the Concordia University Law School, Dean Silak has led and made significant progress on the assessment of properties, program development, fundraising, personnel, and accreditation. "My first task was to determine when we could open the law school. Given our commitment to creating a high quality law school with excellent faculty and our great respect for the requirements of the American Bar Association (ABA), we have selected the fall of 2011 as our intended opening date. I am encouraged by the support of the Boise community and we continue to make progress in all areas" said Silak. Silak plans to host preliminary information sessions for law students and presentations of interest to the Bar and general community prior to the fall of 2011.
