SET YOUR PAGING PREFERENCES

There are many screens in Webct that will only display 10 records at a time. (this is the WebCT default)

-The grading screen in discussions.

-The assignments page

-The gradebook.

At the bottom of each of these WebCT pages is a page navigation tool that lets you move to the next screen to see the next set of 10 records

If you ever are "missing" students from a list, or assignments that you are sure have been turned in, most likely they are not being displayed due to the paging limit being set at only showing ten records.

You can change this default for all your pages in WebCT.

Go back to the main WebCT page and click the "My Settings" link

Now click into the "My Tools Options" tab and scroll to the bottom of the page.

At the bottom of this page, you can set your paging for your course so all records will always be displayed and you will not have to click through multiple screens to see all the records.

We recommend that you set your paging to 999.
