Priorities for Admission to the Nursing Program
There are three paths for students entering the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) cohort at Concordia University:
- Freshman Advantage
- Students enter Concordia University as a freshman (fewer than 12 semester credits of college level work)
- Meet specific benchmarks during their freshmen and sophomore years
- Complete the "Admit to Major" procedure at the end of their sophomore year

- Transfer Sophomores
- Students who have transferred to CU as sophomores to take pre-requisite courses
- Students must be enrolled at Concordia University for at least 1 semester prior to submitting their BSN cohort application (January) to be considered a transfer sophomore
- Must take at least 12 semester credits

- Transfer Juniors
- Transfers as well as college graduates, who have completed or are in the process of completing ALL pre-requisite nursing classes and general education courses
- Religion is the only exception
