Financial Aid
Concordia’s Financial Aid Office makes paying for college a smooth and affordable experience. 100% of eligible students receive some sort of financial aid.
In order to qualify for financial aid, you must be accepted to Concordia. You must also file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). You can submit the FAFSA online or the form can be obtained at any high school or college, including Concordia. Send the results to Concordia University, Portland (Title IV School Code 003191). You will receive notification that your FAFSA has been processed. The FAFSA calculates your Expected Family Contribution (EFC) — an amount the government expects that you and your family can reasonably contribute toward your education. Concordia uses this figure to determine financial aid eligibility.
It’s that simple! Once you’ve been accepted and filed the FAFSA with CU as a recipient, we’ll let you know exactly how much aid you have qualified for (including federal, state, and University monies) in your personalized financial aid package. In the meantime, feel free to e-mail the Financial Aid Office with any questions or call at 503-280-8514 (local) or 1-800-321-9371 (long distance). We’re more than happy to help answer any questions you may have.
