Background
Originally from Moscow, Idaho, Cisco played collegiate baseball at Pacific University in Forest Grove, OR where he earned a B.S. in Exercise Science with a minor in Coaching (2003). He then attended the University of Idaho where he earned his M.S. in Physical Education with an emphasis in Exercise Science (2005), and his Ph.D. in Education with an emphasis in Sports Science (2008). Cisco is also a member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association (N.S.C.A.) and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (C.S.C.S.). Cisco has been at Concordia since 2011 and teaches Exercise Physiology, Applied Kinesiology/Biomechanics, Motor Learning, and Exercise Prescription and Programming. He has published several research articles pertaining to sports performance enhancement. In addition to his teaching duties, Cisco shares his passion in strength and conditioning by serving as a consultant for varsity athletic teams at Concordia.
