Background
Dr. Bachand has 23 years experience in nursing, and 17 years in higher education. She has worked in a variety of care settings with primary focus on cancer care. She is passionate about many areas of nursing, including clinical practice, education, and research. She also enjoys throwing pots and learning Spanish. Dr. Bachand was previously a faculty member at Texas Woman’s University and a consultant for a medical research organization. She will be teaching in Medical Surgical Nursing, Pathophysiology & Pharmacology, and Research.
