From the President's Desk

Dear Friends,
We hope you'll come visit our vibrant, connected, and accessible urban campus in Northeast Portland.
The Portland campus serves as a hub for more than 3,000 undergraduate and graduate students taking classes on campus, online, and in satellite locations across Oregon and Southwest Washington. This past fall, we opened our doors to the inaugural class of students at our new School of Law in Boise, Idaho. This is also the first full year of operation for the Hilken Community Stadium, a soccer and baseball facility, dedicated half to the community and half to Concordia student-athletes.
Concordia students engage in rigorous academics, receiving personalized attention in small classes in a Lutheran, liberal arts environment. Community engagement anchors the Concordia experience, with service leadership opportunities woven in throughout the curriculum.
As a result, Concordia is recognized among the President's Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll for its 251,000 service hours annually. Concordia works with more than 200 nonprofit community partners and has issued more than 2,000 free community library cards.
Whether you are new to The Concordia Experience™ or have played a valued role in our century of education and service, we hope you'll read our 2020 Vision and come visit us.

Charles E. Schlimpert, Ph.D.
President
We invite you to be a part of Concordia's transformation. There are many ways to donate.
