Success to Significance

Schlimpert Photo Dear Friends,

The excitement is building at Concordia University-quite literally, and I invite you to join us on our journey from Success to Significance.

For more than a century, Concordia has embraced a common purpose: service to students, service to the church, and service to the community. Our successful programs have led to tremendous growth, and we are compelled to do more for those we serve.

On April 11, 2008, we broke ground on the 74,000 square foot George R. White Library and Learning Center, marking the beginning of a significant addition to the campus and the community. The LEED certified building was designed in partnership with the community, providing not only a university caliber library, but another significant community resource for our neighbors. It has a front door to the new university commons. It also has an equally inviting front door for the community. On the heels of the George R. White Library and Learning Center will be a new athletic complex for baseball and soccer, and the renovation of the current library to a student union.

Browse through these pages and learn more about the next phase in Concordia's vibrant future. Visit often and watch the transformation unfold. With your help, we will reach our goal of creating a unique place for learning, service and transformation.
