Concordia Endowments
Endowments at Concordia provide a secure financial future for our students and programs since they are saved and invested to yield income for the future. Now over 100 years old, Concordia looks forward to being here for the next 100 years and beyond, helping students to transform into future leaders and contributing members of society. Endowments are a wonderful way to provide for the future, allowing the donor to designate the endowment’s purpose as well as creating stability for the University’s future.
Endowments can be structured to generate support for many designated projects at Concordia. Here are a few of the types of endowments currently in place, but there are many other projects an endowment could invigorate:
- Student scholarships, generally or in specific academic programs
- Faculty endowments to help Concordia remain competitive
- Technology improvements which keep laboratory, computer, and other equipment up to date
- Endowments supporting specific programs, like Athletics, Nursing, Choir, the Library just to name a few
- Building endowments to help build and maintain new and current learning spaces

The Wall of Honor
During our Centennial Year, the following endowments, which were established in honor of emeritus faculty, were given special recognition:
