Graduate Programs

Education

Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT)
Designed for those who hold a bachelor's degree and want to become a licensed teacher. The program can be completed in as little as 11 months if completing the full-time program or in 22 months if pursuing the MAT-Evening option.

Candidates who apply for a future MAT program by May 1st and have taken their Basic Skills Test are eligible for the $250 MAT Testing Award.

Master of Education (M.Ed)

Endorsement and Authorization Coursework

Designed for current teachers or administrators, these programs offer a variety of specialties and ways to pursue your education on campus or online. Whether you are pursuing a master's degree, administrative license, adding an endorsement, or simply need classes to renew your license, we will work with you to create a schedule that fits your needs.

Doctorate of Education (Ed.D.)
Students who pursue their Ed.D. in Educational Leadership can focus in the area of Educational Administration or Teacher Leadership. The Ed.D. can be completed online or on campus and is designed to give you maximum support as you hone your leadership skills, implement new strategies in your work community, and research and write your dissertation.

Business

Master of Business Administration (MBA)
Classes are taught by professors who combine their expertise in their fields with Harvard case studies that allow students to examine examples of how different strategies, economic climates, external factors, and major and minor decisions affected actual businesses. Guest speakers from various corporations also lend their expertise to the classes to make your business education both inventive and practical.

International Development and Service

Master of Arts in International Development and Service (MAIDS)
Offered in partnership with the International Partnership for Service-Learning and Leadership (IPSL), the MA IDS is designed to prepare leaders who serve others through careers with global non-profits, educational institutions, and community development organizations. The program is interdisciplinary in nature and combines rigorous academic study with significant hands-on volunteer service in the United States, Europe, and a country with an emerging economy.

Teaching English as a Second Language

Master of Arts in Teaching English as a Second Language (MA TESL)
This program is designed for those who wish to teach English as a second language around the world and in the United States in venues other than K-12 schools. These include English Language Schools, community colleges or universities, social service agencies, and international schools or organizations that teach English as a second language.
