Payment Policy

All tuition and fees are due in full on the first day of each semester.

  1. Payment of tuition and fees or enrollment in the online Deferred Payment Plan are due on or before the first day of the term. The deferred payment plan is offered through your my.CU account plan. Students will not be permitted to attend classes until financial arrangements have been completed. If students have not completed the necessary processes to satisfy their financial obligations they may be subject to a LATE PAYMENT CHARGE of 1.5% per month on the TOTAL OUTSTANDING balance.
  2. The following are considered payments:
    1. Cash, Check, Money Order, or payments made by MasterCard, Diner's Club, Discover or AMEX.
    2. Student loan proceeds are received by the Business Office. Students should apply for loans at least 6 weeks prior to the beginning of an academic term to ensure that their loan proceeds are received by the university before classes begin.
    3. Scholarships and Grants are awarded by Concordia's Financial Aid Office. In order to be awarded financial aid, all documents including the Student Aid Report (SAR) and Verification Data, must be received by the Financial Aid office no later than 6 weeks prior to the beginning of the academic term.
    4. A letter of financial guarantee from a sponsoring embassy or agency.
  3. A student may choose to enroll in the monthly Deferred Payment Plan. There is an enrollment fee of $90 - $140 per semester, depending on length of semester. Additional information regarding terms of this program can be obtained from the Finance Department in the Business Office.
  4. Failure to make satisfactory payment arrangements may result in voiding academic registration.
  5. No student will be permitted to register for a semester of study with a past due balance. Diploma, transcripts, and grades will be withheld until payment is made in full.
  6. Past due accounts will be subject to late payment charges of 1.5% per month on the outstanding balance.
  7. If a student's account becomes delinquent, the student agrees to give Concordia University permission to seek legal remedy, including but not limited to, identifying and contacting present and future employers to receive information for purposes of collection of the debt. Collection fees, attorneys' fees, and other collection costs will be paid by the student.
  8. UPON REGISTERING FOR CLASSES AT CONCORDIA UNIVERSITY, EACH STUDENT IS OBLIGATED TO PAY TUITION AND FEES AND AGREES TO, AND IS BOUND BY, THE PAYMENT POLICY DESCRIBED ABOVE.
