The Concordia Handbell Ensembles

The Concordia Concert Handbell Ensemble and the Concordia Ringers have a tradition of over 25 years at Concordia University. With a focus on education and meaningful spiritual experiences, the ensembles offer a unique opportunity for beginners and advanced ringers to acquire technical excellence in ringing skills while learning and performing challenging repertoire. The Concert Handbell Ensemble has toured annually throughout the continental United States, Hawaii and Europe. In Spring of 2006, the handbell ensembles toured in Germany. Both ensembles record and perform regularly in the Portland area as well as three major concerts on the Concordia campus. The Concordia handbell ensembles ring five octaves of Malmark hand-bells and 3 octaves of hand-chimes.
