Science Doesn't Just Make Your Head Spin Around

Concordia University math and science students learn to grapple with these rapidly-accelerating changes. Understanding the human genome, investigation of human disease, and how human activities are impacting the environment, challenge our capacity as humans to make the best choices for our future. The Real World

Concordia's field biology program takes our students to Hawaii to study active volcanoes, to living reefs off of Belize to study sea life, and into the Grand Canyon for some not-so-subtle geology lessons. Biology students delve deeply into their field, dissecting cadavers or venturing into rain forests for field study. Students design their own biology and chemistry curricula and studies culminate in a senior research study or internship. Past research projects have distinguished Concordia as a regional leader in the sciences.
