Background
Tom Munson, Ph.D., has been a member of the Concordia University faculty since 1999. Previously Tom taught chemistry at St. Cloud State University in MN and St. Andrews Presbyterian College in NC. Tom's nonacademic career included serving as an analytical chemist with several environmental laboratories, as a research chemist for the Forensic Science Research Unit of the FBI, and a chemist for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. He has published more than 50 papers on his research. Tom is a member of the following professional organizations: American Chemical Society, Portland Oregon Section; Phi Kappa Phi, academic honor society; Alpha Chi Sigma, professional chemistry society; Phi Lamda Upsilon, chemistry honor society. He currently teaches inorganic chemistry and organic chemistry at Concordia.
