Background
Rici Hallstand, Ph.D. joined the faculty of Concordia University in 2001, following over ten years of research experience in immunology. Most recently she worked as a staff scientist at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle where she contributed to research on cancer immunotherapy. Her prior research experience includes work in laboratories at the University of Washington, the University of California Los Angeles, and the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, Sweden. Rici's teaching experience includes a year of teaching at Claremont McKenna College in California as well as experience teaching medical immunology to nursing and medical students. Currently, Rici is teaching biochemistry, and introductory cell and molecular biology for majors, as well as participating in teaching biology and general science courses for non-majors.
