Personal Philosophy

As a systematic theologian, Prof. Metzler views all of theology as interrelated, and as a discipline which embraces and informs all of the academic disciplines. He seeks to be inclusive in his approach to religion and Christian theology, and respectful of all faith traditions. It is his intention and goal as educator to motivate his students to learn about and appreciate the centrality of God in all of life, and the implications of theology for all fields of inquiry.
