Background
Larry Gross has served in his current role as Chair of Performing and Visual Arts since 1992, but has been teaching at Concordia since 1978. Larry has developed and rewritten a number of innovative art classes including Buying into Art, Art in the Church, and Art for Teachers. His own artwork adorns numerous churches and schools including the stained glass windows at Trinity Lutheran in Portland, and the baptismal font at St. Michael's Lutheran in Portland. Aside from his classroom duties at the university, Larry also serves as the coordinator for the Music, Art, and Drama Education (MADE) for Kids program that provides various arts experiences for children near Concordia.
