Background

Karen Morris has been an adjunct instructor at Concordia since 1995. Karen's teaching interests include composition, research, developmental writing, poetry, creative writing, ESL, and business communications. Outside the classroom, she has been involved in newsletter editing, brochure design, and textbook writing and editing. Karen has been involved in coordinating Sunday School activities for her church and supervising children's activities for YMCA summer camps and after-school programs. She has published about two dozen poems in various journals. Currently, Professor Morris teaches courses in English composition and speech and teaches an online tutorial for gifted high school students through Johns Hopkins University.
