Background
Gary Hanson is an emeritus Professor of Biology at Concordia University Portland. Gary taught Anatomy & Physiology and Microbiology for many years and was the advisor for students interested in pursuing medicine and other health professions. His initiative and perseverance were instrumental in developing Concordia’s human cadaver dissection labs, which continue to benefit nursing, pre-physical therapy and pre-med students at Concordia today. Gary and his wife Diane currently reside in Sacramento, California where Gary works as a volunteer docent at the Effie Yeaw Nature Center. Gary always enjoys hearing from former students and colleagues and can be reached at whiznan3901@msn.com
