Background
Andrew Johnson, Ph.D. joined the faculty of Concordia University in 2011 following his graduate studies at Notre Dame. His thesis research included using computational chemistry to explore biochemical repair mechanisms of photolyase class enzymes and the structure and dynamics of natural and non-natural nucleic acids. Current research includes molecular dynamics simulations of glycol nucleic acids and squarane rotaxane dyes. Andrew currently teaches courses in organic and introductory chemistry.
