Post Bachelors Degree Director of Christian Education
The Post Bachelors Degree DCE Certificate is for those who have already obtained a B.A. or B.S. degree and now seek to serve as a Director of Christian Education in the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod. You will train as both educator and theologian. You will train in the skills of alifespan educator—one who helps to equip children, youth and families from birth through end of life.
The DCE is a Christian Educator, a Leader, an Administrator, a Family Life Enhancer, a Consultant, and a Missionary. The graduate of this program must obtain general skills within each of these areas. The DCE is a person who continues to learn, grow and nurture his/her faith in Jesus Christ in order that he/she can be a healthy productive servant for the Lord.
