Post Bachelors Degree Director of Christian Education
Concordia University's Director of Christian Education certificate program is for those who have already obtained a B.A. or B.S. degree and now seek to serve as a Director of Christian Education in the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. You will train both as an educator and as a theologian in the skills of a Life Span educator—one who helps to equip children, youth and families from birth through the end of life.
The DCE is a Christian educator, a leader, an administrator, a family life enhancer, a consultant, and a missionary. The graduate of this program will obtain general skills within each of these areas. The DCE is a person who continues to learn, grow and nurture his/her faith in Jesus Christ to be a healthy and productive servant for the Lord.
