Background
Nate joined the College of Education in 2006 as Assistant Director of Placement. In 2007, he accepted the position of Director of Placement. As Director of Placement, Nate manages the student teaching experiences for undergraduate and MAT/E teacher candidates. The Placement Office locates and secures student teaching placements at schools around Oregon and Washington, assigns faculty supervisors and handles all the logistical aspects of clinical experiences. Prior to joining Concordia, Nate taught middle and high school students at a private boarding high school in Southern Oregon. Nate earned his M.Ed degree in Educational Leadership from Concordia University in May 2009.
