Student Led Initiatives

Make a Difference Day - Tryon Creek State Park Fall 2011

In addition to the over 120 Community Partners that the CU Office of Service Leadership works with to provide service opportunities for CU students, staff, and faculty, we also have many service initiatives that are led directly by CU student leaders known as Social Change Coordinators. These student leaders work diligently throughout the year to coordinate service opportunities that are fun, engaging, accessible, impactful, and purposeful for their fellow CU Students. The CU Office of Service Leadership programs that are led by Social Change Coordinators are:

  • Alternative Break Trips
  • Concordia National Day of Service Program Series
  • Service Experience Team (Oregon Food Bank, Habitat for Humanity, and Night Strike)
  • Student Service Corps
