Concordia University's "New Student" Day of Service is designed to provide incoming students the opportunity to meet other CU students while engaging in exciting, new service orientated activities. Participants have the unique chance to get to know the surrounding Portland community before beginning classes in the fall through doing service at Faubion K-8 School. This is one of Concordia's strongest community partnerships that new students will get to engage in through active service. Individuals who participate get the experience of serving alongside current and other future students providing opportunities for growth and acquainting themselves with the campus through a variety of social activities with the Social Change Coordinator Leadership Staff.
