Preparing for Partnership
This is a 1.5 – 2 hour orientation held prior to the start of each semester (January and August). The orientation assists invited local partnering agencies with connecting their opportunities to the CU community. The orientation offers discussion opportunities, training sessions, and additional Concordia University resources. For more information, contact Director of Service Leadership, Scott Ferguson at 503-493-6232.
Concordia University Service Leaders
(CU Service Experience Teams) Student leaders work with selected local partnering agencies. The role of these students is to assist with the coordination of Concordia student volunteers that serve in each agency. These students serve as a link to the campus and provide a direct connection to the resources at Concordia. Currently we work specifically with Habitat for Humanity, Portland, Bridgetown Inc., and Oregon Food Bank through weekly and monthly service opportunities. If you or your organization would like to be considered to be a part of this program please email the Office of Student Leadership.
