CALL is dedicated to developing leadership - both young and old. In a partnership with the Northwest District of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod, CALL facilitates and/or offers workshops, seminars, forums, and gatherings which support the on-going leadership development of lay and professional church workers in the church.

AMP'd - Youth Musicians Workshop

AMP'dOn July 16-17, 2013 at Concordia University in Portland, Oregon, CALL - in a partnership with WALI (Worship Arts Leadership Institute) - and the excellent youth leadership in the NW District will host a Youth Musician's Workshop entitled "AMP'd!"

Building on the CALL Youth Survey results, the workshop will focus on the leadership gifts of youth by helping develop more skilled and knowledgeable young leaders who presently serve congregations in worship ministry. Youth, ages 13 to 19, who play as solo artists or in an ensemble, and who want to lead excellent worship that communicates God's clear message of grace in Jesus Christ, are invited to attend.

Registration deadline is June 1, 2013. Check-In at Concordia on Tuesday, July 16th from 9:00am-1:00pm. The event runs from 1:00pm Tuesday, July 16th until 6:00pm Wednesday, July 17th.
