Alumni
On Sunday, April 27 roughly 300 devoted fans and players came to campus to bid farewell to the baseball field and play the final alumni games on the grounds. Pastor Tim Brandt '87 led the service, while coaches Rob Vance, Dr. Dwaine Brandt, and Rev. Dr. Art Wahlers led the teams in a five-inning "old-timers" game and a seven-inning "varsity" game. The field was closed to make way for the new Library & Learning Center (link to page) and the University will begin construction on a new athletic complex for baseball and soccer in the coming year.
