Yes, it really is that simple. At Concordia University we give you free money just for filling out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form*.

We believe that the dream of obtaining your college degree can become a reality and we want to encourage you to make the most educated decision possible about financing your college education. We also know that many students who think that they are not eligible for aid are pleasantly surprised to find out that they are eligible.

To help encourage you to see what options are available to you, we have established the "FAFSA Filing Award." If you are a new student and enroll full-time at and attend Concordia University, you will automatically receive $1,000 each academic year, ($500 each term, excluding summer) just for filling out the form**.

The FAFSA Filing Award:

If you fill out (or have filled out) a FAFSA for spring 2011, you will receive $500 as a part of your financial aid package if you enroll for Spring term at Concordia University

For every fall and spring term after that you will receive $500 per term just for filling out your FAFSA

That means each year, as a Concordia University student you can earn $1,000 in aid just for filling out the FAFSA form

This award only applies to students who are accepted to and enroll full-time in Concordia University as Bachelor of Arts majors and nursing.
