Studying abroad makes the world your textbook
Concordia University offers opportunities for students to explore the world and immerse themselves in new cultures and experiences through academic programs abroad.
More than just travel, study abroad expands students' horizons and perspectives. Students learn not only about new cultures, but they also learn about themselves as they explore new personal and spiritual opportunities. Concordia students can choose from a variety of two-week intensive programs to a full-year of academic study in Europe, Africa, Asia, South America, Australia, and New Zealand.
You should begin planning your study abroad experience well in advance. It's not too early to begin incorporating a study abroad experience into your college curriculum during your freshman year. You can participate in short-term programs at any time, but you must be at least a second semester sophomore to participate in a semester or year program.
For information, students should attend one of the Study Abroad Informational Fairs held each semester on campus or make an appointment with the Director of International Studies, Linda Rountree (503) 493-6248, email@example.com or Assistant Director of International Studies, Emily Sipe 503-280-8152, firstname.lastname@example.org.
