Becoming a teacher the Concordia way
Maybe you’ve always wanted to be an elementary school teacher. Or you’re interested in becoming a high school math and science teacher. Perhaps there’s something about the transitional “tween” years of middle school that appeal to you. Or you find yourself called to serve as a director of Christian education. At Concordia, if becoming a teacher is your goal, we believe in getting you into a classroom as early and as often as possible. You can begin your freshman year tutoring local elementary school students, then transition into your practical experiences as a junior and senior. Should you decide to teach secondary education, we offer 13 endorsements – including biology, chemistry, mathematics and physical education.
