Assistant Registrar, Concordia Online

Brief Position Summary: Concordia University seeks to fill the position of Assistant Registrar for Concordia online students. This position is responsible for providing timely and thorough transcript analysis and working closely with online partners to track academic progress of all online students. The Assistant Registrar will develop a thorough theoretical, as well as practical, understanding of the university curriculum, the academic policies adopted by the faculty, and the practices of the Registrar’s Office. Minimum requirements include a Bachelor degree and 2-3 years successful experience in a student records office at an educational institution that accepts transfer credits. Also required includes an aptitude to effectively utilize computerized information and data processing system is required, as well as critical and logical thinking, good judgment, and problem solving. Web Programmer/Content Specialist

Director of the Law Library
Department: School of Law, Boise, ID

Brief Position Summary: Concordia University School of Law, Boise, Idaho, will enroll its first class in the fall of 2012. The Director of the Law Library will provide leadership in designing, implementing, assessing, and managing The George R. White Law Library. The successful candidate will be an experienced, entrepreneurial learning specialist who develops and promotes legal information literacy for the School of Law, challenging members of the law school community to grow in their understanding of how to access, evaluate and use information in varying formats. This position also will assume other responsibilities in consultation with the Dean and the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs.
